The town of Gilbert is holding a Memorial Day event at the Gilbert Historical Museum. Mayor John Lewis and several Gilbert counsel members will also be speaking at the event. The event will begin at 9:00am on Memorial Day, but get their early because seating is limited. However, they are allowing you to bring your own lawn chairs. The Gilbert Historical Museum will remain open until noon for those wishing to tour the museum. For entertainment the Ahwatukee Foothills Concert Band will be performing.
